Hi, my name is Ekaterina, but friends call me Katrin.

I am from Eastern Siberia, Russia.

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to draw. As a child, I attended art school for several years. At the age of 17, when I finished high school, I moved to Moscow to study architecture and construction. I completed my degree as an Interior Designer.

After graduating from university, I worked as an interior designer for a long time. I traveled a lot and gradually fell in love with wine.

Once in Moscow, I got to a master class on painting with wine, and the idea came to me to try to develop this creative direction.

I lived with this idea for several years, but did nothing.

And it so happened that on my next trip to my beloved Portugal, I got stuck in this country due to quarantine restrictions. I took it as a call to action - it's time to do what you love to do the most: Drink wine, communicate with people and draw, combining it into one direction. Since then, I have been developing my small project «THE WORLD IS WINE", in which I draw portraits of people, using red wine as paint.

I have been living in Portugal since December 2019, learning the language, local culture, history, meeting new people, traveling to different parts of this amazing and beautiful country. Drawing is my hobby and I devote a lot of time to it. So to the question "What do you do in your free time?" I answer like this - I draw...
